Adventures in XFEL data analysis

This talk will showcase algorithms that I have developed over the course of my PhD suited to X-ray free electron laser data processing. At present, generating merged datasets to sub-atomic resolution can be tricky at LCLS due to the limitations of the photon energy and detector distance. I will present some of the challenges faced by processing diffraction patterns, collected at LCLS, to generate a 1.15 Å resolution dataset, and how these new algorithms have proved useful to solve them.
