Kwang S. Kim - Carbon based nano-optics, -electronics and -spintronics
I discuss the interplay between theory and experiment to design super functional carbon-based nanomaterials/nanodevices. These include intriguing organic nanostructures, graphene and functionalized carbon hybrid materials for energy harvesting, solar cells, fuel cells, gas storage, water remediation and medical treatment. Hyperresolution phenomena by nano-lensing, super-paramagnetism driven water remediation, and super-magnetoresitance & ultrafast DNA sequencing of graphene nanoribbon are addressed.
