Joint TIMES and IMPRS-UFAST School on Electronic Structure Methods and Applications
This school is targeted at PhD students and early-stage post-docs and will cover basics
of density-functional theory, time-dependent density-functional theory, many-body methods for
electronic structure at equilibrium and out of equilibrium, phonons and electron-phonon coupling.
There will be demonstration sessions of popular codes that work with these methods and that
allow state-of-the-art applications, as well as a talks covering experiments that can probe the electronic
structure.
