Max Planck Digital Library

The MPDL is a central unit of the Max Planck Society that supports scientists from all Max Planck Institutes with a broad portfolio of services in the fields of information provision, publication support and research data management.

Open Access Publishing

The MPDL strives to make Open Access publishing as easy as possible for Max Planck authors. They therefore contract central agreements in order to cover article processing charges out of central funds on behalf of Max Planck authors. Additionally, Max-Planck-authors receive several special conditions with some publishers offering Open Access options.
